Contextual Fit
Statement
When an architect has to design a new building or add to an existing one, he has to respect the exisitng systems also known as the context. The objective of this project is to add functions to an exisitng building, The Smith house, with respect to its contexctual elements and systems.
Contextual Analysis
Narrative
The owner of the house wants to add a new addition to the smith house. Mr. Smith loves nature and beautiful sceneries. For this project he wants more open space to view the sound along with the beauty around it. All-season watching room that is surrounded in glass is something Mr. Smith wants to get a full effect of his nature fix. Mr. Smith also has a wife and four kids, so he would like another master bedroom and bath built for more privacy from the kids and enough rooms to fit the whole family. Exercising is also a big part of Mr. Smith's daily routine and asked to have a unique experience while exercising to keep him motivated.
