For this project, I want the people who enter the building feel at peace or at worship all times of the day.  For the location of the building, I decided to put the building towards the bottom side of the eclipse giving plenty of natural light throughout the day.  One of the main circulation paths of this campus is right through the center of the eclipse, which will draw people to the building. For the orientation of the building, it will use the sun’s natural light throughout the day to light up certain rooms at certain times.  The main chapel will be oriented to the very right of the building, getting the sun’s first light in the morning, the memorial chapel will be placed to the far left of the three chapels for afternoon day use, lastly the meditation chapel will be oriented in the center of the two chapels obtaining the last of the sun’s natural light for evening use.  There will be an outdoor area that also collects and reflects light away from the viewers eyes while still being functional.
